If you are in Victoria, BC you can make an appointment to bring your products in person to be viewed and assessed. After examining your items in person we can provide you with an estimate for selling price.

We take appointments at The Proper Table located at 2534 Estevan Ave in Oak Bay.

You can email photos of your item. Include 4-7 photos that showcase all signs of wear.

Include the following information. Any markings, smells or stains. Any inclusions such as dust-bags, box, tags. If you have a desired selling price let us know. We will get back to you with an estimate for selling price based on current market standards, desirability and condition. 

We offer very competitive rates for your items. 

Initial pricing is based on market research and each item is listed for at least 120 days. After 60 days, The Hunt may adjust the price by up to 10%, and after 90 days, the price may be reduced by up to 20% (unless otherwise agreed).

• $599 or less = $175 fee
• $600 – $1999 = 25% fee
• $2000 – $2999 = 20% fee
• $3000 or $14,999 = 18% fee
• $15,000 or more = 15% fee

Upon receipt of your item(s), The Hunt will take responsibility for all aspects of selling them, including promotional efforts, market pricing, authentication, professional photography, detailed descriptions, online listings, customer service, and secure packaging, shipping, and insurance as required. We utilize a third-party authenticator to guarantee the authenticity of all items, a process that typically takes 2-5 business days. Should an item be deemed inauthentic, an $85 fee is charged to the seller. In such cases, The Hunt will either return the item or, if requested, dispose of it after payment of the fee. 

Please Note: Counterfeit luxury goods are illegal to buy or sell, and The Hunt will not engage in such transactions. Any items found to be counterfeit will be returned or destroyed, and the seller/consignor will be charged an authentication fee.

Consignment payments are made via e-transfer within 1-3 weeks of the item being sold, or a cheque is available upon request.
